The Good Life

I am in disbelief that January is almost over. How the time flies even when you're not having the most fun you've ever had... That is more evidence to bring to the table that you should do something that you love every day. Yesterday, I assisted my parents and I love them so that would be one thing that I love. Today, I'm going out to all-you-can-eat sushi with Brittnie! I LOVE sushi more than one human should love any food item. I am also going to get my eye brows waxed today. That hurts, but I'll love the end result! As far as tomorrow, I'm not too sure. Maybe I will bring a new book to work. That's right, a book to work! I finished one today. I have read it before so that made it a much faster read. I also think that one of my grey hairs fell out. I hope that my body is rejecting them!!

Are you doing one thing that you love every day? I always imagine that I should live as though my life will be cut shorter than I anticipate. Tomorrow is never a guarantee. I keep those with friends close to me who care and try to stay in touch with my family as much as possible (thank you facebook). Wherever this life takes me, I know that I have lived it to the fullest of my capability and enjoyed as much of it as possible.

It's Tax time

I got my first W2 and realized that this will be my last tax return as a single woman. Oh fun! So many changes coming up! I am about half way done packaging invitations lovingly printed by yours truly. I think they turned out nicely! I saved hundreds of dollars by doing them myself! I'm also taking a lot of time to personally deliver any of them that I can to reduce the amount of stamps used. 6 years ago, Andy and I met on this very day as well! How romantic! I do find it somewhat difficult to be excited about the wedding with all of the tasks in front of me that need to be done. I'm staying focused and positive though! I'm marrying a wonderful man and we're building a stable future for ourselves so I can't ask for much beyond that! Not to mention I have discovered that Yahoo music now has a Valentine's Day station and I am getting all of these wonderful ideas for songs I'd love to have played at the wedding! I'm confident that it'll be a wonderful wedding!

Crafty Night

I'm having a crafty evening!!! I just finished printing all of the RSVP's and now on to finishing the invites! I am led to the conclusion that Anna Nicole just likes to hang out in the shop with the guys! The boys couldn't reproduce her braking problem. I thought that was particularily hilarious since the minute I drove away her brakes went "clunk clunk clunk!" Not only does she love to hang out with the boys but she performes for them. I should make sure to sell her to a man when I'm done with her. She'd most likely be MUCH happier!
Thank heavens this weekend is a three day weekend! I NEED one of these!!! Unless you are forced to sit in a cubicle/stall all day, you would not understand. I feel like a caged horse sometimes. I should say all the time.
We lost 1 baby clown today because he (yes I decided it was a man) choked on a brine shrimp egg. I figure that if the clown was that stupid, then we could afford the loss. Only the smart survive in our tanks!! Well, back to the printing invitations grind!!

Day 1

I decided to name my blog Running Down a Dream. I think, because I feel like I've been doing that a LOT lately. Whether it be in my personal or professional life, it seems to be the common denominator. Works become so slow that I can't even begin to express how much my brain hurts. My car keeps having little "breaking down" spells so I have lovingly given her the name "Anna Nicole" because she never hesitates to take all of my hard earned dollars.

I'm ready to print out my wedding invitations! I'll be doing that tonight. I'm so excited to see them come together. Everything about this wedding has really turned out to be just the way Andy and I want it. The only thing more that I could ask for is for someone to rent out his home in Minneapolis!!! Haha! That seems to be the last peice of the puzzle. If you don't count paying for all for the fun little parts of this wedding, moving and making sure all of our rentals are moving along. Oh and planning some kind of honeymoon! But here we are, almost 4 months to go. According to theknot.com, my invitations need to be mailed out 3 months in advance! I think I'll be 100% ready with those. It'll be a great day when I start to get the little RSVP's back in the mail. Hopefully all of the guests are on top of it!
